SUMMARY:The Packaging Operator assists the Packaging team in the
packaging and proper storage of bagged and tote products. He or she
ensures that; all documentation is timely, accurate, and complete,
that GMP's, Sanitation requirements and performance measures are
tracked and met.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND PERFORMANCE
RESPONSIBILITIES:This is a key position within our company
that:Reads, interprets, and maintains Packaging Log SheetsConducts
daily audits of CCP charts Metal DetectionFiles all charts, log
sheets and documents pertaining to production and ensuring they are
accurateMaintains all Metal Detector charts and Metal Detector Log
SheetsTracks and records Animal Feed weights by productDemonstrates
sound work ethicsSupports and encourages greater employee
teamworkAdheres to all plant, OSHA, and Safety RegulationTransfers
finished product from palletizing room to the Warehouse.Scans
packaged product into inventory management system.Inspects all
product packaging for defects.Performs all other projects as
assigned.JOB SPECIFICATIONS/QUALIFICATIONS:Education:High School
Diploma/GED or equivalent work related experienceExperience:Fork
lift experience preferredPackaging experience preferred, milk
processing plant a plusSkills:Able to work in teams effectively and
encourage a positive work environmentDemonstrated ability to learn
new concepts, accept and embrace change, and be an active member of
operating the departmentDemonstrated ability to effectively

tools, and lifts.
