Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Boise, ID 83704: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) The QA Inspector's job is to check components that are made both internally and externally, and to provide information about the parts' conformity with released documentation. Essential Responsibilities and Duties: Using proper measurement devices, inspect parts on a daily basis. Ensure that quality assurance paperwork is kept up to date. Resolve parts issues with the shop/vendor. Maintain a tidy workspace by using certain shared tools. Maintains technical knowledge. Troubleshoots and resolves technology issues. Increases productivity by utilizing technology. Ability to work as part of a group Lean Manufacturing - Demonstrates a dedication to maximizing value and minimizing waste. Qualifications: An individual must be able to satisfactorily complete each key duty in order to do this job successfully. The knowledge, skill, and/or ability requirements mentioned below are representative of what is expected. Individuals with impairments may be able to perform the following essential duties with reasonable accommodations: Experience/Education: Although a degree from an academic or vocational school is recommended, it is not essential. Experience with GD&T, MCOSMOS, and MeasurLink is required. Knowledge of thread classifications, as well as experience utilizing and adjusting ring gages. Experience with several types of dial gages and basic hand tool measurement equipment, including coating thickness measurement. Working knowledge of Mahr and Mitutoyo equipment.
