The Event Operations Supervisor, supervises and organizes the
setup, maintenance and tear-down of all events. The Operations
Supervisor oversees all Operations Staff members to ensure event
operations are well maintained and presentable for guests. The
Operations Supervisor is the primary production and floor contact

OPERATIONS SUPERVISORS DO?
- Supervises and monitors event set up and operations to ensure
space is presentable and meets client expectations and fire
code
- Organizes effective teams and draws upon the talents of each
team member
- Responsible for opening and closing the building, securing,
maintaining the facility performance and tasks completed during
each shift
- Accommodates, anticipates, and responds to client and guest
needs and requests
- Delegates tasks, expectations, priorities, and deadlines to
operations team
- Reads, interprets, and analyzes event orders and diagrams
- Listens to team members' feedback and helps to resolve issues
or conflicts
- Assists Operations Manager with training and performance of
operations team members
- Supervises and sets up tables, chairs, and other event
equipment in a safe, timely manner as directed by Event Order and
complete the tear down at the conclusion of the event
- Maintains cleanliness of event rooms, lobbies, restrooms,
service halls, warehouse, and storage areas
- Operates and supervises use of heavy equipment; forklift,
pallet jack, scissor lift, walkie-stacker, and driving vacuum
Requirements:
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
- Previous team leadership experience or supervisory training,
required
- Must be willing to become Forklift Certified (this it provided
in-house at Boise Centre)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to delegate tasks, perform multiple functions, and be
flexible with changes in work loads
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical
instructions
- Ability to work in a high-stress, high-volume work
environment
- Provides timely and thorough customer service to internal and
external customers
- Regular and reliable work attendance at scheduled time
on-sitePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to safely operate heavy equipment and perform heavy
manual labor for extended periods
- Frequently will: stand and walk for long periods of time; bend,
stoop, kneel, and twist; reach and use of ladders, stools, and
stairs; lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Occasionally will: ascend tall heights up to 22 feet and work
in outdoor weather conditions, be exposed to moderate noise
levelsMust be willing to work outside of normal business hours,
long hours, weekends, evenings, overnights, and
