Have you ever wanted to weld parts for the aviation sector?!We are looking for quality welders/fabricators with an opportunity to weld for products used by Boeing and other companies!**Description:**Accomplishes welding projects on time and ensures that quality standards are metFollows all safety proceduresCompletes other duties as assignedWelds together metal components as specified by layout, blueprints, diagrams, manufacturing operations sheet (MOS), using electric arc-welding equipmentWelds in flat, horizontal, vertical, or overhead positionsExamines weld for bead size and other specificationsCleans weld joints or workpiecesPrepares rework parts for weldingChips off excess weld, slag, splatter using hand scraper or power chipperPositions or clamps workpieces together or assembles them in a jig or fixtureMust apply safety rules when shipping equipmentMay be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, airborne particles, smoke (Not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels)Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with applicable law, industry standards and company policyOccasionally lifts 25 - 45lbsFirst Shift - Monday through Thursday: 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM - Training shiftSecond Shift - Monday through Thursday: 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM**Skills:**Tig, Assembly, Blueprint, Weld, Welding, Fabrication, Tig welding, Stainless steel, Production, Fitting**Additional Skills & Qualifications:**Successful completion of a TIG welding training course or previous experience as a TIG welder.High School Diploma or GEDAbility to complete welding vision testAbility to pass welding assessmentAbility to read blueprints strongly preferredAbility to calculate algebraic variables and formulas and have a basic understanding of trigonometryReasoning Development: Must follow written, oral and graphic instructions, and deal with problems involving several variables in a standardized situationLanguage Development: Must be able to read and complete formsMust be able to demonstrate knowledge in or be willing to take training in the following Basic Safety courses:+ PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)+ Chemical Hazard (Hazcom - General)+ Chemical Hazard ( Hazcom - Specific)**Experience Level:**Entry Level**\#AeroJobsBozeman****About Aerotek:**We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
