client. Location: Remote Description: Systems Management
Specialists are responsible for the preparation for new or changed
services, management of the change process, management of
performance of systems and services in relation to their
contribution to business performance. Individuals in this role
apply their technical skills to support the operation and
maintenance of vendor products, services, and solutions and
typically have responsibility for sizing, troubleshooting, and
critical client situations. System Management Specialists with this
skill focus on Distributed System Automation Tool Maintenance and
have expertise in maintaining the tools, and related infrastructure
necessary to automate system management tasks. This includes in
particular monitoring, hardware management, endpoint management or
scanning tools. Includes knowledge of system management software,
knowledge of ITIL best practices, and applying IT Service
Management processes to maintain the automation service supported
by the tools maintained. Maintain IBM product System Automation
(SA) for z/OS. Skills: Develop REXX Script Perform Conflict &
Problem Resolution Use z/OS; Maintain Netview for z Analyze
Problems & Situations Architect Solutions-Automation & Scheduling
Perform Technical Implement Tiv Systems Automation (SA) for z/OS
Perform Problem Analysis Apply Knowledge of z/OS Maintain REXX Code
for Automation Apply Knowledge of Tivoli System Automation (SA) for
z/OS Develop Tivoli System Perform Mainframe Automation (MFA) on a
z/OS operating system using the IBM product Tivoli System
Automation (SA) for z/OS Implement Sys Automation For z/OS Perform
z/OS Automation Analyze Technical Problems & Solutions Architect
Sys Automation For z/OS Excellent verbal and written English
