Architect Job Description Prime Therapeutics is going through an
exciting transformation to modernize our data, reporting and
analytics portfolio leveraging Cloud services. This role provides
technical vision and leadership skills to align IT solutions to
business outcomes and provide architectural oversight for strategic
initiatives impacting Prime's Reporting and Analytics capabilities
and solutions. The Enterprise Portfolio Architect is responsible
for initiating and leading strategic solutions that fulfill
specific business and technology outcomes. Solutions include
projects, products, systems (including applications, technologies,
processes, and information), shared infrastructure services and
shared application services. The Enterprise Portfolio Architect
leads the analysis and design tasks to support the development of
enterprise solutions that cross multiple domains to ensure that the
resulting architecture meets the business needs and align with
architecture governance and standards. This position also leads the
creation of deliverables that help develop target-state guidance
(reusable standards, guidelines, individual parts, platforms, and
configurations) for evolving the architecture across the
enterprise. The role is responsible for being highly collaborative
and interactive across multiple business and IT areas, proactively
assist in defining the direction for future projects to ensure
strategy alignment. Responsibilities + Lead and/or facilitate
Reporting and Analytics portfolio strategy development to achieve
enterprise goals and objectives + Actively manage, communicate, and
market the Reporting and Analytics portfolio strategy via creation
and maintenance of architecture blueprints, roadmaps, and executive
presentations + Partner with leaders and other architects to lead
and/or facilitate enterprise information and data strategy
development to achieve enterprise goals and objectives + Promote
decision-making at the appropriate organizational level and
identify opportunities for shared capabilities to reduce costs,
improve integration, and reduce duplication + Lead the architecture
and solution definition for strategic initiatives, products, and
projects impacting Prime's reporting and analytic solutions,
environments, and platforms + Assist in the development of
policies, standards, guidelines, and reference implementations that
direct the selection, development, implementation, and use of
Information Technology within the enterprise + Maintain awareness,
research, drive, and lead adoption of emerging IT trends,
disruptions, and practices relevant reporting, analytics, and
Business Intelligence + Engage leadership to identify business and
technology-enabled innovation opportunities that enable and drive
business outcomes + Lead the analysis of the business-IT
environment to detect critical deficiencies, legacy, and technical
debt, and recommend solutions for improvement + Develop, maintain,
and evolve the architecture and solution intent (current state,
transition state, and future state) for the portfolio + Govern
architecturally significant work, aligning it with business and IT
strategies, through architectural reviews, solution architecture
and application architecture collaboration + Work closely with the
product portfolio owners and product managers from across the
organization to drive a robust architectural runway that can
support future business requirements throughout the product and
solution lifecycle + Work closely with Enterprise Information
Architect, Data Governance, Privacy, and IT security to ensure
appropriate treatment of data privacy, protection, access, usage
and quality policies and controls within the reporting and analytic
solutions + Coach, mentor, and collaborate with technical subject
matter experts and architecture peers to develop architecture that
enables and drive new business capabilities and operating models +
Continuously improve and mature enterprise and portfolio
architecture practices + Other duties as assigned Minimum
Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related
area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or
relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required + 10 years
of related work experience in Business Analysis, System Design and
Development, Systems Engineering, or technical architecture; to
include 5 years direct experience working within an Architect role
+ Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for
work visa or residency sponsorship Additional Qualifications + Deep
experience with reporting and analytics platforms, data lakes, data
warehouses, data marts, and business intelligence tools and
technologies + Proven track record of successfully modernizing
reporting and analytic capabilities using public cloud services
(Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services), event streaming, AI,
and Machine Learning + Significant experience defining and
standardizing design and architecture patterns for reporting and
analytics solutions, data integration, data warehouses, data lakes
and data marts + Advanced ability to communicate and present
effectively at multiple levels of the organization + Ability to
define, plan, initiate and lead architecture and teams for assigned
area and scope + Demonstrate wide understanding of multiple domain
areas, with ability to apply practical and pragmatic solutions +
Self-learner, ability to work independently and direct the learning
and work of others + Experience handling all of solution types,
ranging from organization and process to implementing new system
builds, legacy enhancements, commercial-off-the-shelf packages, and
Cloud solutions + Experience as a senior level architect working on
significant enterprise initiatives + Previous experience with
enterprise architecture tool and knowledge repository such as
Planview CTM / Enterprise Architect, Sparx, or Software AG +
Previous experience with SAFe Agile Framework Preferred
Qualifications + Practitioner knowledge of data integration, data
warehousing, streaming analytics, and data scientist solutions +
Experience with the following technologies: Analytics and BI
platforms, Data Science platforms and tools, data integration,
event streaming, Google Cloud Platform Database, Data Analytics,
and AI / machine learning services, Looker, AWS Cloud Platform
Databases, AWS Analytic Services, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SAS +
Experience with industry models and standards (HL7, FHIR, NCPDP,
Pega Foundation for Healthcare, Salesforce Health Cloud) +
Experience working with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA
and/or PCI) + Previous experience in PBM / health care industry +
Strong experience with software development life cycle and project
management principles + In-depth knowledge of two or more
architectural domains (application, infrastructure, integration,
and/or security) + Master's degree in Computer Science or related
area of study, or equivalent combination of education + Formal
Enterprise Architecture training and certification + Experience
modeling Enterprise Architectures with industry standard modeling
notation Minimum Physical Job Requirements + Ability to travel up
