Testing and Quality Assurance Lead at Guidehouse in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Family : Systems & Business Integration Consulting Travel Required : None Clearance Required : None What You Will Do : As a Testing Lead for IT projects you will be responsible for leading and managing the testing efforts for software development projects. This includes creating and implementing test plans, coordinating and conducting testing activities, and ensuring that all testing is completed on schedule and within budget. As a Testing Lead you will work closely with project managers, functional leads and developers to ensure that all testing is properly integrated into the overall project plan. Additionally, as a Testing Lead you will be responsible for identifying and mitigating any risks associated with testing, and for ensuring that all testing is conducted in compliance with industry standards and best practices. Other key responsibilities may include: + Managing and mentoring a team of testers and functional analysts + Understanding business requirements and developing test cases and test scripts + Performing testing and recording results + Reviewing and analyzing test results + Identifying and reporting defects + Leading System Integration and User Acceptance Testing Cycles + Coordinating with other teams and stakeholders to ensure all testing requirements are met + Keeping abreast of new testing tools and technologies to ensure that the team is using the most appropriate and efficient methods. What You Will Need : + Minimum Three (3) years of specialized experience as a Lead Tester/Test Manager, supporting test activities associated with the design, development, certification, and implementation of IT. + Experience with designing test scripts and leading testing activities such as System Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Regression Testing, Stress Testing, Performance Testing and Functionality Testing for complex IT Systems with large user base. + Experience of working in an Agile or SAFe Agile Framework + Strong technical background and experience in software development and testing. + Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. + A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. + Experience of leading scrum calls. What Would Be Nice To Have : + Experience with working in Financial, Budgeting and Accounting Systems + Experience with Testing Automation Tools such as Selenium, JUnit etc. + Experience with stress testing tools such as Apache JMeter, LoadRunner etc. + Experience with leading testing in a CI/CD environment The annual salary range for this position is $72,700.00-$130,900.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
