Living by these virtues, we pride ourselves on exceptional service and the highest quality of care.The Center for Global Health and Healing is hiring for a team-oriented and compassionateService Coordinator for the Program for Survivors of Torture, located in Boise, near the Regional Medical Center! This is a grant funded position. The current grant is through October 2027, with the possibility of being renewed. This position does quality for all benefits. About the Position: As the Service Coordinator for the Programs for Survivors of Torture, you will provide service coordination to eligible participants and their families under the Program for Survivors of Torture (PSOT). You will be responsible for ongoing individual case management (direct patient care) including: facilitating the participant's needs assessment, developing an individualized recovery plan, monitor services in accordance with the wellness plan, and monitoring the plan for positive outcomes. This may include connecting eligible participants with services within the Saint Alphonsus Health System and outside community partners. You will also be responsible for providing community outreach and information on the program to local stakeholders and for collection of program data and providing the information to the Lead Service Coordinator and Center for Global Health & Healing Manager. You will meet with participants at least quarterly face-to-face, via phone or by home visit, this is a large part of the position.An ideal candidate will have experience working with families who have gone through refugee resettlement and/or have worked with individuals who have experienced trauma. You will also have experience in case management and community outreach. About the Program for Survivors of Torture: In 2015, The Center for Global Health & Healing expanded services to the community by starting the Program for Survivors of Torture (PSOT). For survivors and their families, PSOT offers interdisciplinary and integrative services to help address the physical, psychological, social, and spiritual impact that torture and trauma has on the person. PSOT also provides local training for clinicians, individuals, and agencies working with similar populations to help increase the community's understanding and overall capacity in serving families who have been affected by torture.   • Must possess knowledge normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in social work, clinical counseling, public health, community development or related field, OR two years' experience (volunteer or paid) in a refugee service provision context and/or experience providing service coordination required. Essential Skills:
    • Demonstrated ability to work in a diverse multidisciplinary team.
    • In depth understanding, or willingness to learn, of trauma informed, culturally responsive and linguistically appropriate care highly desired.
    • A thorough understanding of the current refugee process as it relates to resettlement, healthcare, mental health and broader social service needs preferred.
    • Excellent communication and team building skills.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Strong self-initiative and capable of contributing new ideas for content.
