Come grow with us!General Purpose and Scope of Position:Assists the Accounting Supervisor in managing the Division's cash flow through the Accounts Payable process. Responsible for ensuring that invoices are efficiently and accurately processed. Maintain desk processes and controls for an efficient customer-centric focused approach to meet internal customer, external vendor, and business requirements.Key Skills and Abilities Include:At least 2 years of related work experienceCollege coursework in accounting is helpful, but not requiredA detailed understanding of the Accounts Payable process and workflow of the Division's transaction processing flow particularly as it relates to Accounts PayableAbility to investigate and analyze problems and use sound business-based judgment to resolve issues efficientlyAbility to utilize Excel as a working toolAbility to work as part of a teamKey Personal Attributes Include:High degree of IntegrityExcellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsAbility to develop relationships with employees at all levels throughout the organizationHighly motivated, organized and detail-orientedAbility to multi-task and prioritizeSpecific Responsibilities and Key Deliverables Include:Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approvalEnsure payables are processed in a timely manner based on payment termsResponsible for data entry into the AP System and running of the weekly check runAssist team in documenting receiving and shipping of products (Scales)Compensation and Benefits:In compliance with all states and cities that require transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $16.11 - $20.37 per hour. Note that wages may vary based on location, skills, and experience.
