As an SSD Product Engineer Lead (PE Lead) at Micron Technology, Inc., you are a core member of the product development team. You will coordinate activities and work with multiple teams within Engineering, Manufacturing, Planning, Design, etc. to enable product development and ultimately high-volume manufacturing. You will engage multiple engineering groups to the product and issues in order to lead such efforts. At product qualification, you will assume project leadership, provide engineering status reports, provide support for continuing engineering, and drive yield and test-time reduction efforts. Responsibilities and Tasks* Lead multi-functional teams to coordinate execution of program priorities* Coordinate activities of product issues, driving root cause and corrective action change* Communicate test time projections and coordinate activities to drive test flow optimization, test time reductions, and yield improvements* Assist in the creation of the SSD development build plan and assume ownership for plan execution* Ensure manufacturing capability and test flows are sufficiently mature to meet critical program milestones and enable high-volume manufacturing* Participate in design reviews and FMEA's to ensure manufacturing/test features and functionality to optimize high-volume manufacturing* Provide regular reporting on program status, schedule changes, high-priority issues, and manufacturing yields throughout the life of the product* Generate, analyze, and interpret data from high volume manufacturing and characterization* Work closely with business unit and customer teams to meet drive delivery dates, and resolve customer integration issues and technical requests* Assume responsibility for in-production product changes as a result of RMA or customer requests Skills:* Understanding of SSD behavior, architecture and design* Excellent organizational, communication, presentation and leadership skills* Ability to work independently in a very dynamic environment and adapt to change* Persistence to figure out root-cause and provide corrective action for product issues* Ability to lead cross functional teams to understand and fix a wide variety of issues* Attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to balance multiple projects* Exposure to high-volume manufacturing processes* Self-motivated and hardworking in a challenging, dynamic environment* Solid knowledge of Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)* Experience with the following is a plus: JMP, Python, Perl, C, Linux, MS Project, SPC, SQL, SAP, FMEA, and 8D knowledge Education:* Minimum of a 4-year engineering degree required Experience:* 2 years' experience working in Micron's NVE org preferred* Product, component, or systems development and debug About Us As the leader in innovative memory solutions, Micron is helping the world make sense of data by delivering technology that is transforming how the world uses information.
