Job Description:

As VP, Supply Chain Planning & Enablement you are responsible for leading our Integrated Business Planning, which leads the monthly S&OP Cycle coupled with Integrated Financial Business planning, and coordinating our Capex plans. You will also lead our Demand Management that drives the entire Supply Chain, including Hub Planning and Distribution Planning and lead our New Product Introductions (NPI) Planning and execution within Global Operations. This role requires a high degree of cross-functional collaboration across virtually all company functions, up to and including the Senior Executive level. - Role responsibilities include:
Provides Input to develop the company strategy around Capex Planning for the FE spend using detailed knowledge of both financial and business implications of our Capex plans as well as understanding the complexities of the FE and Technology Development
Leads both the S&OP process for the company as well as NPI Operations, both are critical for the success of the company
Regularly interacts with senior executives both in support of the S&OP process as well as NPI
Drives decisions through the S&OP significantly impacting the long-term success of Micron
Have significant strategic (Capex) and operational (NPI execution) impact through both the S&OP process and NPI Planning
Responsible for orchestrating all activities in Global Operations in support of new product development and ramps to assure Operational readiness for NPI and High Volume Manufacturing (HVM)
Responsible to drive alignment and financial optimization between the Front End (FE), Technology Development (TD) and Product Portfolio driven by all Business units (BUs)
Must apply broad knowledge of Micron's business and competitive environment to drive the right strategy in the S&OP
Actions and decisions are highly visible inside the company, mostly around S&OP
Will have 2-3 layers of managers under reporting structures in different group under this role's leadership
Analyzes and makes recommendations for long-term impact of Company Capex and Product roadmaps
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Economics, or a similarly analytical discipline is required.
Masters/MBA preferred, with the ideal background of both an engineering (e.g., mechanical, electrical) and Operations degree (e.g., Supply Chain, Industrial Eng., Operations Management)
A minimum of 10 years of related experience in global supply chain and/or New Product Introduction (NPI) Operations/Planning is required including at least 7 years in a leadership role. S&OP, business strategy, NPI, Portfolio Planning experience in the tech industry preferred. Semiconductor experience in said fields would be ideal.
Expertise and experience with international supply chains.
Experience with running an integrated business planning process (or S&OP), for a large scale company, orchestrating it across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Business Units and Finance
Experience with orchestrating NPI activities in large companies with several diverse product lines
Experience in enabling High Volume Manufacturing (HVM) readiness for NPI
Demonstrated competencies in initiative planning, strategic thinking, problem solving, decision making, and delivering results within a fast-moving environment.
Having past experience in Manufacturing and/or Engineering and/or Product Development in the semiconductor industry would be ideal
Proficiency with understanding Operations impacts on the P&L and ability to drive actions across the corporation driven by P&L optimization
Ability to manage, build relationships and communicate effectively with direct internal and external resources at all levels. This includes the ability to drive change through influence.
Experience building high-potential teams through mentoring, coaching and humble leadership
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
Comfort with ambiguity; ability to be flexible in a rapidly changing environment.
A self-starter; comfortable with defining goals, success factors, and key metrics for programs, and delivering against them
Experienced in managing a global function
Experience in collaborating with multiple sites and functions to drive common solutions and standardization
