About this position:The Storekeeper directs and supervises warehouse staff to maintain, organize, issue, and deliver supplies for field-related projects. The Storekeeper is also responsible for running daily reports for material purchase determination and for maintaining and controlling inventory.   • Demonstrates leadership consistent with NorthWestern Energy's code, values, policies, processes and controls
  • Utilizes effective management practices to maintain employee engagement and productivity
  • Effectively manages budget, ensuring proper cost controls
  • Leads special projects as required utilizing effective change and project management techniques
  • Coordinate warehouse and supplies
  • Oversees the company truck and stock transport material deliveries and pickups around the state
  • Perform inventory counting/control
  • Complete required documentation monthly
  • Perform research and purchasing of new equipment
  • Work directly with all departments and supervision to ensure purchase of correct materials
  • Create reports (e.g. cycle counts, safety, budget, housekeeping issues)
  • Complete facility inspections
  • Oversee, report, and present on worksite safety
  • Ensure direct reports are fulfilling safety obligations
  • Work extended hours including evenings and weekends in response to acute service needs
  • Safely perform individual lifts of parts, equipment, and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds from floor to chest level
  • Supervises warehouse staff in Butte

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
      • Degree in business, materials management, or supply chain field is preferred
      • Experience with warehouse or logistics operations preferred
      • Strong working computer skills is required
      • Successful warehouse operations and inventory management experience
      • Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
      • Forklift operation certification (Training Available)
