Job SummaryUnder moderate supervision, responsible for maintaining accurate records of all inventories. Handle all paperwork and follows all procedures to meet this goal. Verify all orders received and shipped and ensure that the orders are properly accounted for in the companys records. Account for all defective or damaged products and follows with appropriate corrective action. Manage and reconcile all cycle counts.$2,000 Sign-On BonusMAJOR JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Consults with customer production lines and manufacturing groups to understand demand forecasts; schedules material lots and reviews pricing.

  • Serves as a liaison between the customer and supplier for product sourcing.
  • Enters inventory, purchasing, and QC data into applicable Avantor and customer systems.
    Coordinates material delivery and set-up/installation; assists with emergency deliveries.
  • Change Notification compliance updates change orders, part# updates, adding/deleting materials when needed.
  • Provides reporting on material planning, open order, metrics, etc.
  • Control/fulfill Inventory, communication with customer, scope of work adherence with proper documentation outlining change
  • Provides general Customer Service assistance: order processing, quotes, sample requests, returns, billing resolution.
  • Create, understand, and follow Standard Operating Procedures; make recommendations, anticipate needs, and understand what changes are required for SOP's and/or draft revisions
  • Demonstrated ability to train others on SOW/SOP
  • Responsible for all customer service-related functions including but not limited to: order entry, reporting, maintaining metrics, etc.
  • Maintain asafe, clean, and professionalwork environment that may include cubical, stockroom, and Point-of-Use locationsat customer locationsPerform other duties as assigned.


    QUALIFICATIONS (Education/Training, Experience and Certifications)

    High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelors degree in Logistics/ Supply Chain desirable
    1-2 years of procurement, expediting, order management, and/or business experienceBENEFITS: (All Full-time employees are eligible for health benefits on 1st day of employment)

      Proven order management, forecasting knowledge, and/or expediting experience.
      Proficiency with MS Office suite (Expert level skills in Excel and Access)
      SAP experience highly desirable.
      Strong problem solving skills.
      Ability to work independently to prioritize multiple competing tasks
      Solid written and verbal communication skills
      Strong analytical skills
      Formal problem solving training highly desirable.
      Familiarity with contracts desirable.
