Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.As a Manufacturing Technician your main responsibilities will include cycle time reduction by facilitating product movement, keeping lot mean time at step (MTAS) low and supporting advanced engineering tasks. The area Manufacturing Technician is the first responder on area inefficiencies, i.e. lots not tracking/staging, data not downloading, tool lockups, and lot processed verification. You will utilize production planning reports to review historical workstation performance and identify areas for improvement.Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Monitors status of key bottlenecks and priority workstations throughout shift to ensure they are running efficientlyEnsures task status is being updated and all meaningful lot information is commented and passed down to the next shiftImplements shift game plan as developed by the shift supervisorCalls out area issues (line down, no redundancy, extended tool down, no support, etc.) that are impacting overall fab performance to management and key partners and assists with resolutionAnalyzes area business processes and bring proposals to table on improvementsPartner with automation SMEs to develop, test and provide feedback on automation improvement projectsFacilitates the resolution of scheduling issues and area wide automation issuesUtilizes and works to improve Remote Operations Center monitoring toolsCompletes all required safety training and conducts all work in accordance with safety policiesImproves area safety behaviors and processes for the work environmentContributes to continuous improvement and problem-solving effortsParticipates in or leads projects and teams to improve performance of the fab and process areasSupervises and optimizes priority lots coming to the area by removing roadblocks and call out issues to lot ownersMinimum Qualifications: At least an Associates Degree in a related field, and/or equivalent work experience, including applicable military experienceSophisticated PC skills with advanced MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote and PowerPoint experienceAbility to tackle intermediate problems and identify and resolve root causesAbility to follow basic procedures, work independently, and in a team environmentAbility to work in the cleanroom environment, including wearing PPE during required tasks, (gown, face shield, gloves)Ability to perform In-Fab tasks (Chemical samples - Wet Process area, Transporting slurry & slurry samples - CMP area, Changing resist bottles and reticle pod changes - Photo area)Preferred Qualifications: 1-year experience in Production/Manufacturing and an Associates Degree focused in Supply Chain Management, Operation Management, Industrial Engineering or STEM related degrees.
