Overview: The Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Coordinator works closely with the Manager, Manufacturing Operations, and the Alexander Publications Manager to ensure an exceptional customer experience. The coordinator is responsible for receiving and documenting all inbound inventory and materials, efficiently sorting, and storing all items to promote quick shipping and efficient product fabrication, and packaging and shipping finished products to customers. This position will be responsible for maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse, for ensuring proper stock levels and all items, and for keeping all downstream functions properly supplied. In this position you will have the opportunity to::
Act as primary point of contact for all shipping and receiving functions at NLC's Boise location which consists of Manufacturing, Print Production, Innovations, and Alexander Publications.
Collaborate with managers and business owners of each department to determine and execute needs respective to each department; promote communication to determine priorities.
Take possession of, reconcile with packing documentation, record in NetSuite, and sort, process, and/or store all in-bound shipments.
Perform and document quality control checks on all in-bound shipments. Understand product performance and customer needs to confidently inspect, and accept or reject, all custom fabricated parts. Build and maintain relationships with vendors to correct quality issues
Use work orders and sales orders to prepare shipments for postal and commercial/freight conveyance, select appropriate shipping container and pack items to ensure safe delivery. Deliver RFQ to shipping vendors, negotiate prices, select providers, and provide proper shipping documentation to ensure shipments are safely delivered on time.
Understands and utilizes shipping, receiving, and inventory management functions of NetSuite and bolt-on options like RFSmart technology and bar-code systems to create warehouse and transactional efficiency.
Work closely with responsible purchasers in each department to ensure availability of required materials. Understand material requirements for each business function to provide purchasing feedback to purchasers.
Act as a runner for all local shipping, receiving, and purchasing functions.
Implement and support all established NLC policies, including those established by the Supervisor.

Required Education & Experience::
High School diploma or GED
Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience; or any relevant education and experience
Proven experience in Receiving/Inventory/Warehousing knowledge preferred
Ability to use basic and web-based software (MS Office Suite, Smartsheet, Salesforce, etc.) preferred
Working knowledge of logistics software (ERP) preferred
