Job Title: Business Analyst Reports To: Vice President, Finance Northpoint Recovery Holdings, LLC , established in 2009, is a growing, behavioral healthcare treatment platform treating adults with substance use disorder and co-occurring conditions under the Northpoint Recovery brand and adolescents with mental healthcare conditions under the Imagine by Northpoint brand. The Company serves patients with commercial health insurance and is an in-network model. Northpoint has grown from two facilities to 14 today entirely on a de novo basis with plans to expand rapidly in both existing and new markets. In short, our mission is to help people get their lives back and show them respect and empathy in the process. _Northpoint has an opening for Business Analyst in our Meridian, _ID administrative office._ POSITION SUMMARY: As a key member of the Finance team, the Business Analyst is responsible for compiling, analyzing, validating, managing, and reviewing current and proposed business operations and stakeholder needs via financial statements, KPIs and other key metrics, and reporting that information in a useful means to digest and aid decision making. This will include compiling and tracking metrics for special projects. The Business Analyst will identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex datasets including financial, clinical and medical data. This role will work with our Finance team to pull data from our electronic medical record, general ledger software, CRM and call center software to assess the overall effectiveness of the organization and its departments to devise solutions to problems. This position will be one of the primary points of contact for data evolution and reporting for key stakeholders in the company including managers, executives and board members. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: Design effective reporting that enables business leaders to have clear visibility to timely and accurate business results Responsible for the consolidation of data from multiple sources to develop reports Develop, implement, and maintain leading-edge analytics, taking complicated problems and building simple frameworks Identify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex datasets Create best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualization Evaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, and inaccuracies, and develop and maintain protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning data Establish and maintain checks and balances in data processes for QA and accuracy Enhance the environment needed to automate reporting and self-service reporting Provide Operations, Finance, Admissions, Marketing and Outreach teams support to be provided via data analytics Produce KPIs with consideration to user friendly dashboards Proactively explore and identify data driven challenges with the business Process confidential data and information according to guidelines, including financial and internal controls Develop reports for analysis in support of the Finance team Compile quarterly board decks in partnership with department leaders Maintain confidentiality in accordance with 42 CFR Part 2 and all other established policies, procedures and standards of care Adhere to all company policies and procedures Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or equivalent experience required Minimum 2 years' experience in statistics, finance or accounting Passionate about the creation of data models and adaptable to evolving processes Meticulous attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and desire for process understanding Experience with a growing company with multiple entities and geographic locations preferred PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Sense of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality about employee and business issues Data-driven individual with strong attention to detail who can work collaboratively Critical and creative thinker Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker Comfortable analyzing information and dealing with complexity Social ease and a demonstrated ability to build relationships with a variety of different people and personality types Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing Excellent time management skills, adherence to company policies, programs, and work rules Ability to effectively prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment with ease and professionalism Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Access, Project and Powerpoint PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
