Simplot Company is a true farm-to-table company with operations that touch every aspect of agriculture, including seed production, farming and ranching, plant sciences, fertilizer manufacturing, food processing, commercial product development, and distribution.Summary--Under general supervision, this role completes a variety of-- activities supporting company-wide disbursement processing.--Key ResponsibilitiesThe Accounts Payable Technician position involves multiple dimensions and responsibilities including:--

• Invoice Identification--
• Routing invoices to the correct Simplot--Approver & Location--
• Researching Invoice and Vendor history and payment methods--
• Matching and--processing--purchase--orders to the correct--receipts for payment----Typical EducationHigh school diploma/GED requiredBachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university--preferredRelevant Experience3+ years related experience and/or trainingRequired CertificationsOther Information
  • 3 years+ related experience--and/or training--
    • Possess a thorough understanding of assigned accounting related functions (i.e.--A/P, A/R)--
    • SAP experience preferred.
    • Able to operate general business machines such as computer, and similar office equipment efficiently and--accurately--
    • Perform routine mathematical--calculations--
    • Able to accurately complete high volume of work within specified time frames--
    • Must be punctual and have regular--attendance--
