Oregon, Utah, and Washington. Our quality improvement teams of
clinicians, consultants, and data analysts partner with healthcare
providers to redesign processes, build sustainable change, and
deliver care with greater value and quality.
Reporting to our Patient Safety Director for Medicare QIN / QIO
Initiatives, you d support the Nursing Home Quality Care
Activities, which seeks to ensure that every nursing home resident
receives the highest quality of care. Specifically, our tasks
strive to instill quality and performance improvement practices,
eliminate healthcare-acquired conditions, and dramatically improve
In this role, you d provide outreach, recruitment and engagement,
educational programs and technical assistance to skilled nursing
facilities to promote ongoing Quality Assurance Performance
Improvement (QAPI) regulatory implementation and improvement in
clinical and operational topics.
Typical accountabilities include:
* Develop and implement work plans covering quality improvement
interventions, curricula, and processes.
* Convene and facilitate meetings for training, education, and
coalition-building; provide subject matter expertise in-person and
* Monitor, track, and report outcomes of interventions, training,
and other assigned projects.
* Advanced MS Office Suite proficiency
* Familiarity with healthcare clinical and operational workflows
and medical terminology.
* Bachelor's degree in nursing, healthcare administration, or a
related field. Graduate degree in health or business related field
* Clinical licensure or CPHQ preferred.
* Current, active, unrestricted clinical licensure in Idaho
3+ years of skilled nursing clinical and/or operations work
experience including understanding of the linkage of transitions of
care between the hospitals, community and SNFs
2+ years of quality improvement, staff development, or related work
Prior project and/or program management work experience.
Proficiency with Lean, Six Sigma, or another quality improvement
* Intermediate MS Office Suite proficiency.
