Job Description Summary Our Contact Center Representatives help prospective and existing customers with a variety of banking related questions and needs. This position needs a master multi-tasker with great attention to detail to navigate between multiple programs and systems while assisting customers. A general working knowledge of general products and services is helpful but can be taught. Our Contact Center Representatives also have the opportunity to work on additional projects such as mentoring or one of our many advocacy groups; expanding their knowledge and consequently expanding their future career opportunities with Bank of the West. This position has the option to work in one of our key hubs (San Ramon, CA, Tempe, AZ, Omaha, NE) or to work remotely as long as it is in within our 27 state working footprint which includes AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IA, IL, KS, MI, MN, MO, NE, NV, NM, NC, ND, OH, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT, WA, WI, WY, NY. TRAINING STARTS: January 24th Monday-Friday for a minimum of 4 weeks, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM CST (Adjust to your time zone) Pay : $15/hr with advancement opportunities; $16/hr bilingual Spanish AVAILABLE SHIFTS: _(Work schedules are released in Central Time Zone; adjust to your time zone)_ Schedule A : Sunday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Monday - Friday 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM; Saturday and 1 other day off during the week Schedule B : Sunday 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM; Monday - Friday 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM; Saturday and 1 other day off during the week Schedule C : Sunday - Friday 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM; Saturday and 1 other day off during the week Schedule D : Sunday - Friday 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM; Saturday and 1 other day off during the week Schedule E : Monday-Friday 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Sunday and 1 other day off during the week Schedule F : Monday-Saturday 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM; Sunday and 1 other day off during the week Schedule E : Monday-Saturday 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM; Sunday and 1 other day off during the week Essential Job Functions Effectively listen to customer requests and process transactions. Support non-English speaking customers by utilizing the Language Line process to better serve them. Share information on bank products as requested by the customer Help customers with account maintenance including address changes, check orders, stop payments, account closings and ATM/Debit card captures. May respond to customer inquiries via email. May support the customer with posting functions for debit card requests. Troubleshoot customer pain points by adhering to a strict set of procedures on what we're allowed to do and/or not do for the customer. Other Job Duties Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Experience Requires knowledge of systems, procedures, and products Follows basic work routines and standards Strong written and verbal communication Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy Skills Understands and adheres to all training and bank policy, laws and regulations applicable to role. Effectively use all applicable systems, technology and software to perform job functions. Ability to communicate effectively, courteously and provide the customer with accurate information.
