enterprises related to agriculture.SummaryThis role promotes and
sells company products to existing and new accounts through direct
customer contacts within assigned geographic region. Provides
customers with information regarding delivery and service of new
and existing products. Identifies prospective customers and
develops new accounts. Works with marketing department to deliver
results through targeted campaigns while driving incremental sales
volume. Compiles information on market trends to promote products
while developing pro-active sales strategy. Independently plans and
organizes work, schedules sales calls, and submits reports of sales
activities. Manages queue of inbound sales leads from company
website and promotional advertising campaigns.Key Responsibilities
Research, analyze, and sell product through virtually while
supporting marketing campaigns. This position will be expected to
gather and report on market intelligence. Works primarily within
assigned geographic territory to increase sales to established
client base. Manages moderately complex sales accounts and
transactions. Works independently to develop new sales accounts
within and beyond designated sales territory.Typical
EducationBachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or
university
Relevant Experience3-5 years related experience and/or
trainingRequired CertificationsOther InformationThorough knowledge
of the company, its customers, its products and their
uses.Distinguishing Features: Individuals at this level have
minimal pricing authority but significant input into personal and
SBU goals and objectives. Some involvement in activities and issues
outside his or her own territory may be required. This is a career
