Job Description \n \n \n Job Summary Details: \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n The Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area which includes but is not limited to cleaning rest rooms, emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting as well as other assigned duties.\n \n \n Pay: $16.00/hr\n \n \n The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM)\n \n \n \n \n \n Shift: Monday - Friday 5:30pm - 12:30am\n \n \n \n \n \n Basic Qualifications: \n \n \n • Must be 18 years of age or older \n \n \n • 1 year of similar work experience\n \n \n • Valid Driver's License\n \n \n • Must be fluent in English\n \n \n \n \n \n Responsibilities: \n \n \n • Clean and maintain buildings/facilities\n \n \n • Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures\n \n \n • Notify Manager concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems \n \n \n • Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.\n \n \n • Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities \n \n \n • Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment\n \n \n • Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas, either manually or by using hand trucks \n \n \n • Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees \n \n \n • Wash and replace blinds\n \n \n • Gather and empty trash \n \n \n • Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks \n \n \n • Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas \n \n \n • Service, clean, and supply restrooms\n \n \n \n \n \n A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
